Part 2: Reflection upon Leadership Theories
Based on your experiences, reflect on the leaders of your current organization or in an organization where you once worked. Use pseudonyms or only titles to protect their anonymity. Respond to the following elements:
Explain the leadership theory the leaders mostly exhibit.
Indicate whether their leadership results(ed) in achieving the mission and goals of the organization.
Explain if their leadership approach meets or has met the needs of the organization.
Explain if the leader exhibited or adheres to servant leadership and if not, recommend what could have changed.
As a current educational leader or aspiring educational leader, identify which leadership approach, based upon the five theories, you most closely assimilate to as an educational leader in your current organization. Explain why.
In doing so, predict what you believe will be the benefits or disadvantages.
Length: 4-6 pages plus your table, not including title or reference pages.
