Week 4 - Assignment: Evaluate eLearning Technologies

BAE

Identify a minimum of five (5) eLearning tools of a similar category (software categories might include LMS, recording software, audio/video editing software, etc. Hardware categories might include digital cameras, laboratory equipment, projection/display technology, etc.). To make this assignment more authentic, try to identify tools that have the potential for adoption within your current organization. Then, evaluate each tool using the Rubric for eLearning Tool Evaluation (Anstey & Watson, 2018) from this week’s resources. Present your findings in a slide presentation, dedicating one slide per learning tool. You are not required to include the completed rubric for each tool; rather, use the rubric to identify areas of concern for each tool and report your findings in the slide presentation.

In the notes section of each slide, provide a 500-word rationale that explains the findings of this evaluation, namely, which tools pose serious concerns for adoption and which tool ranks superior.

Post your presentation in the SoE Community Forum, specifically the conversation titled, ED-5044 Week 4 Evaluate eLearning Technologies. The link to this conversation is provided in the week’s resources. Be sure that you are replying to this conversation rather than creating an entirely new post in the broader SoE Community Forum.
