Suggest ethical practices that could have been adopted to produce a more positive scenario/outcome

Task:

The essay topic will require students to undertake research into the topic, enable students to analyze and assess the researched material and subsequently provide a well written essay. A new essay topic is used for each offering of the subject.

The essay should be a maximum of 1,500 words. TOPIC Choose a recent event of a commercial nature that has been publicized in the media that contains significant ethical challenges.

Identify and discuss these challenges and provide commentary incorporating the following: 1. Suggest ethical practices that could have been adopted to produce a more positive scenario/outcome.

2. The importance and role of ethics in business.

ASSESSMENT TASK 2:

CRITERIA SHEET Students are to write an essay based on the topic allocated for the study period. The topic will involve both a theoretical and a practical/application component. In this regard see the rubric in Section 6 for the marking criteria which should be completed for each assignment.
