Evaluation of the usefulness of the source to others

The evaluative paragraph should address the following issues:

a. Brief summary of the content of the source.

b. Inclusion of the author’s background (‘evaluates’ their credentials).

c. Explanation of how the research was conducted and its scope.

d. Comment on the validity of the research and/or limitations.

e. Evaluation of the usefulness of the source to others.

f. Summary of the key themes, arguments and conclusions (or potential for future research in the area).

g. Your evaluation of the value of the source to you viz. how you intend to use the source in your essay
